What these terms cover

These terms cover this website, acren.ie, and nothing else.

They are not the Acren founding firm agreement. If you have signed a founding firm agreement, that document governs your relationship with Acren. Nothing on this page changes it, adds to it, or takes anything away from it. Where this page and that agreement differ, the agreement applies.

This site is information only

There is no account to create here. There is nothing to buy, and no service is delivered through this site. The site describes what Acren is being built to do. The only thing it asks you to do is send an email.

No advice, and no warranty

The scheme information on this site is general description. It is written to explain what the software is for.

It is not professional advice. It must not be used in place of the current Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine terms and conditions, or in place of your own professional judgement.

Scheme rules, deadlines and eligibility conditions change. DAFM re-sets closing dates every scheme year, in consultation with the farm bodies. A date that was correct in one scheme year is not automatically correct in the next. Where this site names a month or a period, it is describing how the season behaves. It is not stating a deadline for the current year.

Check the current DAFM terms and conditions before you act on anything you read here, and before you advise a client on it.

The site is provided as it is. No guarantee is given that it is complete, current, or free of error. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from reliance on this site.

Content

The text and design of this site belong to Diarmuid Smithwick. Do not copy or republish them without permission. You are welcome to link to the site.

Changes

The site changes as the product is built, and these terms may change with it. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. The Irish courts have jurisdiction.
