Log the job. Draft the invoice. Get paid.

Acren records every job your firm does on a client’s file and drafts the invoice on your own rates. Nothing leaves your office until you approve it.

How it works

  1. 01

    What goes in.

Your client book, your rate card, and every job your advisors do across the season.

  2. 02

    What Acren does.

Each job is logged the day it happens and priced against your own rates.

  3. 03

    What you get.

A draft invoice per client, already written. You approve it, change it, or leave it.

One BISS application is seven months of work.

Submission is a single day in May. The rest arrives unannounced, in small pieces, with a fourteen day clock on it. None of it has a natural moment to invoice.

2025 scheme year

to 15 May
Submission
to 31 May
Amendments. Parcels added, areas corrected. No penalty.
to 10 June
Late amendments. 1% per working day.
June onward
Area Monitoring notifications. Fourteen days to respond.
to 2 September
Crop use changes. Seed receipts or geotagged photographs.
to end September
Administrative check queries. Fourteen days to respond.
Any time
On the spot inspection. The advisor may attend.

Preliminary check notifications land in June. The response window is short. That is billable work most firms currently do for free.

Acren logs each of these the moment it happens. At the end of the season the invoice is already written.

Why Acren

  1. 01

One BISS filing generates work from February to September.

    You bill the work.

  2. 02

Built with the firms that will use it.

Three founding firms signed and paid for year one before a line of software was written. They set the specification.

  3. 03

    Nothing sends without you.

Acren writes the invoice. It never issues one.

Getting started

  1. Day one

Your client book and your rate card go in.

  2. First week

Your advisors log jobs from the yard, on a phone, as they happen.

  3. End of season

The invoices are already written. You approve them.

Built by someone who was in the yard.

Acren was built off the back of a love for farming.

I grew up on a third generation stud farm. From an early age I was sent out moving horses or mucking out. From twelve on, any free time I had went into farms, cattle, sheep, and large scale machinery operations. I never knew life without the outdoors.

Then I took a year out and travelled through Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Working a grain harvest in Australia opened my eyes to how much agricultural software is in daily use there. The number of tools running on one Australian operation was well ahead of anything I had seen at home.

Ireland is behind on this. Acren is where I start closing the gap.
