Acren is a business operated by Diarmuid Smithwick, Ireland. I am the data controller for this website.

What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, acren.ie, only.
It does not cover the Acren product. The product is not live yet. When it is, it will hold client records on behalf of agricultural consultancy firms. In that arrangement the firm is the data controller and Acren is the processor, and it will be governed by a separate data protection policy and a written data processing agreement.
What this site collects
Nothing.
There is no contact form. There are no analytics. This site sets no cookies. There is no account to create, no newsletter, no mailing list, and no email capture of any kind. There is no tracking pixel, no session recording, and no advertising network.
These are static pages. The site does not know who you are and does not try to find out.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel records standard technical logs of requests to the site, and those logs include IP addresses. That is a normal part of serving a website and it happens whether or not a site has analytics.
Those logs sit with the host. I do not analyse them, and I do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
If you email me
The buttons on this site open your own email application. The site does not capture your address. Nothing reaches me unless you choose to send it.
If you do email me, I receive your message and your email address, and I keep them in my mailbox so that I can reply and carry on the conversation. That is ordinary business correspondence. You are not added to any list.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have rights over personal data held about you, including rights of access, correction and erasure. The only personal data connected to this site is what is described above.
Email diarmuid@acren.ie and say what you want.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, the Irish supervisory authority, at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If this site ever starts collecting anything, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
